U20 WW/Cup Qualifier: Rwanda To Face Falconets In Second Round

Rwanda’s U20 women’s national team has booked a second-round showdown with Nigeria’s Falconets in the ongoing FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Rwandans advanced past Zimbabwe with a 2-1 aggregate victory. After securing a 2-1 win in the first leg in Kigali, the return fixture—also held in Kigali—ended goalless, sealing Rwanda’s progression.

Nigeria, who received a bye in the first round due to their strong track record in the competition, will now begin their qualifying campaign against the East Africans.

The first leg of the second-round tie is scheduled for September in Kigali, while the return leg will be played in Nigeria.
