Nigeria’s U20 women’s national team, the Falconets, have sealed their place in the final round of the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers after outclassing Rwanda in Ibadan, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Having secured a slim 1-0 advantage in the first leg last weekend in Kigali, the Falconets turned on the style in the return fixture, cruising to a 4-0 victory at the Lekan Salami Stadium on Saturday.

The hosts made their intentions clear early on, with quickfire first-half goals from Previous and Fatimoh putting them firmly in control of the tie.

After the break, Janet added a third before Afolabi completed the rout, sealing an emphatic 5-0 aggregate triumph.

With the result, Nigeria now advances to the final round of qualifiers as they continue their bid for another appearance at the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup, where they remain one of Africa’s most consistent representatives.
