U20 Women WAFU B Tourney Gets New LOC Chairman

Osei Tutu Agyemang has been appointed as the new chairman of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the WAFU Zone B U-20 Women’s Cup of Nations in Kumasi, BSNSports.com.ng report.

The LOC is expected to provide oversight, support and advice to the tournament organisers on planning and execution.

Part of their responsibility is to source funds for the organization and also provide local operational needs to the organisers for a successful tournament.

Executive Council member and Bechem United Chief Executive Officer Kingsley Osei Bonsu will serve as vice chairman of the committee.

The 1st edition of the WAFU B Women’s U-20 Cup of Nations is scheduled for Kumasi from Saturday, May 20 to Sunday, June 04, 2023.

Seven countries have confirmed their participation in the tournament and they include Niger, Benin, Ivory Coast, Togo and Burkina Faso, Nigeria and the host Ghana.
