U20 Women World Cup: Falconets Land In Pot 2

Ahead of the 2022 FIFA U20 Women World Cup draw, the World soccer ruling body has placed each qualified team in pots, BSNsports.com.ng gathered

Nigeria's Falconets are among the teams that will be participating in the competition and have been placed in Pot 2 alongside Mexico, USA and Spain.

The Nigeria side qualified for the tournament having crossed the hurdles of Cameroon, Senegal and DR Congo.

Another African representative Ghana has been placed in pot 3 alongside South Korea, New Zealand and Brazil

Falconets are the only Africa team that have played in the final of the tournament, they did twice in 2011 and 2015 losing to Germany on both occasions.

The draw ceremony is slated for Thursday in Costa Rica.
