U20 Women’s WAFU B: Ghana Unveils Squad For Falconets

Ahead of the 2025 WAFU B U20 Women’s Championship, Ghana has announced its final squad to face Nigeria’s Falconets, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Ghanaian women’s U20 team will lock horns with the defending champions, Falconets, as the regional tournament kicks off later this week.

The Ghana Football Association, on Wednesday evening, officially released the list of players selected by head coach Yussif Basigi to represent the Black Princesses in the competition.

The squad, a mix of experienced and young talents, features several players from the successful U20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers and the national women’s league.

Basigi expressed confidence in his team’s readiness to challenge for the title, emphasizing their determination to make a strong start against Nigeria.

The much-anticipated clash between Ghana and Nigeria promises to be one of the highlights of the opening stages of the tournament.
