U20 World Cup: 10-Man Brazil Send Out Tunisia

The hope of the Young Carthage Eagles of Tunisia to progress in the ongoing FIFA U20 World Cup has been dashed as they lost to 10-man Brazilian team, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The South Americans expectedly dominated the game and they opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 11th minute through Marcus Leonardo.

The 5-time champions continued their pressing game and they were rewarded with a good finish from Andrey Santos.

Brazil was reduced to 10 men in the 45th minute when Robert was sent off for a dangerous play but they were able to return to the locker room with a comfortable lead.

Tunisia showed improvement in their performance in the second half, they had a goal chalked off by the Video Assistant Referee ( VAR) in the 78th minute.

Matheus Martin netted the 3rd goal in the 91st minute before Andrey completed his brace to make it 4-0 while Ghorbel reduced the deficit for Tunisia in 100 minutes as the game ended 4-1.
