After great performance against the European champions, France, the Nigeria's Falconets face another tough test on Sunday night when they tackle Group C table toppers, Korea Republic in second group C game of the U20 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica.
The Falconets got off to a winning start on Thursday morning with a heart-warming 1-0 win over highly-rated France.
However, South Korea shot to the top of the group when they beat Canada 2-0.
The Nigeria Women U20 national team forward, Flourish Sabastine won the Woman of The Match following her superb performance in group C opener.
Besides a well-taken goal, Flourish Sabastine looked a really top-class finisher with a great all-round game of guile, movement and poise.
Sebastine knows her way to goal having netted seven goals in a qualifying series that the Falconets raced through to reach Costa Rica in super style.
She will therefore be the player to watch by the Koreans, but in midfielder Mercy Idoko, who threaded the through ball for Sebastine to make hay, Nigeria also have another exciting talent.
The Falconets defence led by skipper Tosin Demehin have to step up as they were only left the hook when VAR disallowed France goal for an infringement.
Victory on Sunday night will lift Nigeria to the knockout rounds of the World Cup even before a final group game against Canada Wednesday.
Kick-off time is 9pm in Nigeria.
