U20 World Cup Draw: We're Prepared For Flying Eagles – Norway Coach

Norway U20 head coach, Bjorn Johansen, has expressed confidence in his team's preparedness to take on Nigeria's Flying Eagles at the upcoming FIFA U20 World Cup, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Following Thursday evening's draw, Norway was placed in the same group as Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, and Colombia.

Johansen acknowledged the physical prowess of the Nigerian team but emphasized his squad’s readiness to rise to the challenge.

 “We had hoped to avoid certain teams, but now we have the opportunity to test ourselves against opponents we haven’t faced often—especially Nigeria, who bring a lot of power and strength,” Johansen said in an interview with Norwegian football media.

 “We have ample time to prepare for our group-stage opponents, and we’re really looking forward to being part of what promises to be an exciting and fantastic tournament,” he added.
