U23 AFCON: Olympic Eagles To Arrive In Nigeria On Sunday

The Nigeria U23 team will arrive in Nigeria on Sunday morning from Dar e Salam, Tanzania where the first leg took place on Saturday.

Team captain, Success Makanjuola put the 2015 U23 AFCON champions in front when he calmly converted a penalty following a foul on Akani Qudus in the penalty box in 29th minute.

Like Nigeria, Tanzania got the important equaliser in the 81st minute from the penalty spot.

Winners between Nigeria and Tanzania and will face winners between Uganda and Guinea.

Nigeria arrived in Tanzania on Thursday and had the feel of the pitch the following day.

Tanzania beat South Sudan in the First Round to book a Second Round faceoff with Nigeria. The second leg of the Second Round will hold on 29th October at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba Ibadan.
