U23 AFCON: Tanzania Contingent Departs For Nigeria

Ahead of the second leg of the 2023 U23 African Cup of Nations qualifier, the Tanzania contingent has left Dar es, Salaam, en route to Nigeria, BSNSports.com.ng understands.

The Junior Taifa star held Nigeria's U23 team to a 1-1 draw last weekend and they are willing to turn the table against the West Africans in the second leg game billed for the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba-Ibadan.

The team under coach Selman Morocco during the week intensified their training for the important match.

They departed Dar es Salaam in the early hours of Wednesday and the team coach insisted that they have what it takes to qualify for the next round.

They are expected to arrive in the country on Thursday and will have the mandatory training at the match venue on Friday before the game on Saturday.
