U23 AFCON Qualifier: CAF Confirms Referees For Nigeria Vs Guinea Game

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Sabri Mohammed Fadul as the centre referee for Nigeria’s last round of U23 African Nations Cup qualifier clash with Guinea on Tuesday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Sabri, who is from Sudan will be assisted by his compatriots Mohammed AbdelGabar as (Assistant Referee 1) and Ahmed Nagel (assistant referee 2) and Ghanaian Munkaila Nassam as match commissioner while Ring Nyier from Sudan Sudan is the fourth official.

The Nigeria U23 Eagles will miss the services of Christopher Nwaeze who saw red in Wednesday game and have a mountain to climb in the return leg of the final qualifier slated for Morocco next Tuesday. The Olympic Eagles struggled to hold on to a 0-0 draw in Nigeria on Wednesday and will need an outright win to qualify for the 2023 CAF U23 African Nations Cup finals where countries will pick tickets to represent Africa at the 2024 Olympic in France.
