U23 AFCON Qualifier: Guinea To Arrive In Nigeria On Sunday
Ahead of the U23 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Nigeria's Olympic Eagles, the Junior Syli National of Guinea is set to depart Conakry on Saturday evening and arrive on Sunday BSNSports.com.ng report.
The Guinean team reached the final round without kicking a ball after their proposed opponent Uganda pulled out of the 2nd round qualifier.
The Olympic Eagles of Nigeria defeated Tanzania over the two legs to reach this level of the qualifier.
Syli National under coach Morlaye Cisse has been training in Conakry with the invited players getting ready for the clash.
Out of the 22 players invited only 16 will be travelling to Nigeria on Saturday with the remaining 4 players joining the team in Abuja.
The first leg is slated for Wednesday at the MKO Abiola stadium in Abuja while the second leg is fixed for 4 days later in Morocco.
