U7 WAFU B: Manu Warns Golden Eaglets Against Complacency

Former Golden Eaglets coach, Manu Garba has warned the West African Football Union WAFU B U17 semifinalist to be wary of being over-confidence on their way to the final of the competition.
Golden Eaglets on Tuesday were the First team to reach the feat after winning their two group matches against the hosts Ghana and Togo.
The 2013 FIFA U17 World Cup champion, Manu in an exclusive interview with BSN Sports praised Nduka Ugbade for putting such team together in just two months. He however warned the team to remain focus on reaching the final to pick the U17 African Nations Cup ticket by winning the semifinal tie.
He said, "There is need to appreciate the coach, Nduka Ugbade for putting up such formidable team in just two months. However, their eyes must remain on reaching the final and qualify for the African Nations Cup where they have the opportunity to reach the final and pick the World ticket."
"Being over-confidence at this time is dangerous."
Ghana, Nigeria and Togo are three teams in group A while Benin Republic, Burkina Faso Niger Republic and Ivory Coast are in group B.
Winners between Ghana and Togo will join Nigeria in the semis.
Finalists in the competition will represent West African country in the 2023 U17 African Nations Cup in Algeria.
