UCL: Calzona Drills Osimhen For Barcelona Clash

Barely 48 hours he was confirmed as the new Napoli coach, Francesco Calzona took charge of this first training session, as he drilled Nigerian star striker Victor Osimhen and his teammates on Tuesday, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

Calzona, was appointed after the sacking of Walter Mazzarri, whose poor showing with the Serie A defending champions, has seen them drop to the 9th spot on the Serie A log.

The Azzurri were working at the SSC Napoli Konami Training Centre on Tuesday afternoon as they prepare to host Barcelona.

The Champions League last 16 first-leg match kicks off tonight at the Stadio Maradona.

The squad began with a warm-up and rondos, then moved on to technical and tactical drills before finishing with a training match on a small pitch.

Osimhen who returned to Napoli last Friday, after the AFCON duties with Nigeria in Ivory Coast, missed the team's 1-1 draw against Genoa.
