It was a double blow for the Belgian Jupiler Pro League side Club Brugge on Tuesday as they suffered a defeat to AC Milan and also lost one of their key player, Raphael Onyedika, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Brugge played away to 7-time European champions who are yet to secure any points in this year's Champions League.

American International Christian Pulisic put the host ahead earlier in the game

Super Eagles midfielder Onyedika came into focus when he came in far, far too late in a tackle on Tijjani Reijnders.

After a VAR review, it resulted in a straight red card.

Kiriani Saabe equalized for Brugge in the 21st minute before Rejinder scored twice to earn Milan a 3-1 win.
