UCL: Osimhen Leads Man Of The Match Award Board

Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen currently leads the Man of the Match award standings in this season’s UEFA Champions League as the competition heads into the knockout stage, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The prolific forward, who plays for Turkish giants Galatasaray, tops the chart with four Man of the Match awards following his impressive performances during the group stage of the tournament.

Osimhen sits ahead of France international and Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé, who occupies second position on the standings.

Several other players have recorded three awards each, placing them just behind the Nigerian striker in the race for the most individual recognitions so far in the competition.

Meanwhile, Osimhen is expected to be in action on Tuesday when Galatasaray take on English Premier League side Liverpool F.C. in the opening match of the knockout rounds of the UEFA Champions League.
