UCL: We Are Regaining Our Confidence – Ademola Lookman

Nigeria’s Super Eagles winger, Ademola Lookman, has expressed his delight after helping Atalanta secure a dominant 3-0 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Lookman was one of the standout performers on the night, scoring the opener before providing the assist for the second goal, as Atalanta sealed an emphatic away win against the German side.

Speaking after the game, the in-form forward described the victory as an important boost for the team’s momentum and top-level belief.

“It’s a big performance for the team. It’s a good victory away from home,” Lookman said.

“In the first half we had a few chances, and coming out in the second half, we knew we had to create chances again. And it’s pretty good that we scored three goals pretty quickly. The team is gradually gaining that confidence.”

The win strengthens Atalanta’s position in the competition as they push to secure qualification to the knockout stage.
