UEFA Champions League: Napoli Will Be Favourite If Osimhen Plays - Capello

Ahead of the first leg of the UEFA Champions League, former Italian boss Fabio Capello has said Napoli will be the favourite if Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen plays, BSNSports.com.ng report.

AC Milan will host Napoli in the first leg of the champions league this week but the Nigeria forward remains a big doubt for the game.

The Nigeria international suffered a muscle injury while representing the country in the 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Guinea Bissau.

Capello said the game will be 50/50 if Osimhen doesn't play but if he plays then Nerrazurri will be the favourite.

 â€œA lot will depend on Victor Osimhen. If he is not there, the domination will be 50-50 between Napoli and AC Milan. But if he plays, Napoli will be 5% more favourite. 

However, he asks Stefano Pioli to "find solutions so as not to leave the ball to Victor Osimhen", added Fabio Capello.
