UEFA Europa Conference League: Chukwueze's Stunning Goal Nominated For Award

Samuel Chukwueze's breathtaking goal in the group stage of 2022/2023 UEFA Europa Conference League has been nominated for an award, BSNSports.com.ng reports.  

The Nigerian left-footed winger scored a volley for Villarreal in their 4-3 win over Polish side Lech Poznan in September with his goal being the first of the Yellow Submarines’ four.

It was one of the two goals Chukwueze scored in the UECL group stage, with the second coming against Austria Vienna in a 5-0 win.

While Villarreal finished top of their group in the Conference League with 13 points from six matches, Quique Setien’s tutored side has been less impressive with 18 points from 13 games in the Spanish La Liga.
