US Club Announce Appointment Of Former D’Tigress Star

Connecticut Sun have announced the appointment of former D’Tigress standout Chineze Nwagbo as the franchise’s new Director of Player Relations, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Nwagbo, fondly known as “Chinny,” will oversee the development and implementation of the team’s player-focused initiatives in her new role.

Her responsibilities will include leading strategic programs centered on player engagement, welfare, advocacy, and personal development.

According to the club, the position is designed to ensure that players are supported throughout every phase of their professional careers, both on and off the court. The role also emphasizes preparing athletes for life beyond basketball by equipping them with the tools needed for long-term success.

Nwagbo brings a wealth of experience to the position, having represented Nigeria at the international level with the D’Tigress and built a reputation as a committed professional during her playing career.
