UWCL: Oshoala Returns As Barcelona Wallop Wolfsburg

It was a sweet return for the injured Nigeria's Super Falcons forward, Asisat Oshoala, as her club FC Barcelona Feminino walloped their counterparts from Germany Wolfsburg 5-1, BSNsports.com.ng gathered.

The Nigeria star who is also the club's top scorer this season has been out of action for the past few months due to an injury and was absent from the national team for similar reason

Goals from Aitana BonmatÃ , Graham Hansen , Jenni Hermoso and brace Alexia Putellas ensured that the Catalan based club recorded an emphatic win in front of 91, 648 fans in Camp Nou.

Oshoala was introduced in the 73rd minute and was instrumental to the team getting a penalty later in the game to seal the win.

The return of Oshoala will gladden the heart of Super Falcons manager Randy Waldrum as he continues to prepare the team for the upcoming 2022 African Women Cup of Nations in Morocco
