Umar Sadiq Ready To Make Valencia Debut Against Elche

After finalising his permanent transfer to Valencia from Real Sociedad, Umar Sadiq is poised to make a significant impact as he prepares for his debut against Elche on Saturday, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

The Nigerian striker was officially unveiled as Valencia's newest signing with the No.6 shirt at the Paterna Sports City.

Sadiq expressed his eagerness to return to Valencia, a club where he played a crucial role in helping them secure their survival last season.

 “I always knew this day would come. When the summer transfer window opened, it didn’t work out, but this time, it’s happening. I’ve been counting down the days for this moment,” he stated.

 “I’m thrilled to be back at Valencia. I fully understand the significance of this club. I feel at home here, and that’s why we’ve both made a committed effort to make this happen.”

 He also added, “I spoke with several players and wished them well before their matches.”

On his partnership with Corberán, the Nugerian remarked, “The last time I was at Valencia, he was instrumental in giving me many opportunities. He can truly bring out the best in me.”

 He concluded, “I’m ready to take the field against Elche, but ultimately, that decision lies elsewhere.”
