Underperforming Obi Extends Winless Streak At Heartland

By Precious Oham

Reinstated Technical Adviser of Heartland FC, Christian Obi has continued his winless streak in the NPFL as the Naze Millionaires were held to a 1-1 draw with Kwara United, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Harmony Boys held the relegation threatened Heartland to a draw in a rescheduled game decided at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri on Thursday evening.

Temitope Akande opened scoring for the hosts in the 54th minute before Godwin Oshagbemi equalised at the hour mark after he dribbled a defender and the goalkeeper.

The result means that the hosts have dropped points after losing their last two games to Niger Tornadoes (3-2) and Kano Pillars (2-1) in their quest for survival.

Heartland have not won on the road this season, and their only hope of survival this campaign was further dimmed by the wounded Harmony Boys.

The Naze Millionaires are rocked bottom on the log as they search for the elusive win under the tutelage of Obi continues.
