Unity Cup: Ahmed Musa Thrilled To Rejoin Super Eagles Squad
Sampson Adedeji
Kano Pillars striker Ahmed Musa has expressed his excitement at rejoining the Super Eagles for the Unity Cup, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Musa is making his return to the national team for the first time since participating in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations held in Côte d’Ivoire.
He is currently with the squad in London as they prepare for the invitational tournament.
“I’m always happy whenever I receive a call-up, so I’m very pleased to be back,” Musa said in a video shared on Nigeria Football Federation’s NFF TV.
“It’s been a while, but I don’t think much has changed. We’ll just have to see how things go on matchday.”
The Super Eagles are set to take on their long-standing rivals, Ghana, in a friendly match on Wednesday at the Gtech Community Stadium in Brentford, London.
