As preparations intensify for the upcoming Unity Cup, selected home-based players are scheduled to leave Nigeria for London on Sunday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Leading the squad is team captain, Ahmed Musa, alongside local talents Ifeanyi Oyebuchi, Papa Daniel, Nduka Junior, Sadiq Ismaila, and Waliu Ojetoye — all invited by head coach Eric Chelle.

Also making the trip are Collins Ugwueze, Saviour Isaac, Abubakar Adamu, and Sikiru Alimi.

They will be joined in London by the invited foreign-based players as the team begins full preparations for the tournament.

The Super Eagles will kick off their campaign against long-time rivals, the Black Stars of Ghana, on Tuesday, May 27, at the Gtech Community Stadium in Brentford.
