By Niyi Busari
The Super Eagles of Nigeria secured a hard-fought 2–1 victory over Ghana on Wednesday evening to book their place in the Unity Cup final, where they will face Jamaica, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The highly anticipated clash between West African rivals took place at the Brentford Community Stadium in London, with both sides putting on a spirited display. Nigeria ultimately emerged victorious, edging out the Black Stars in a match that lived up to its billing.
The win sends Nigeria into the final showdown of the four-nation tournament, where they will take on Jamaica — who had earlier defeated Trinidad and Tobago in a dramatic 3–2 semi-final on Tuesday night.
The Unity Cup, featuring Nigeria, Ghana, Jamaica, and Trinidad and Tobago, continues to serve as a celebration of sporting excellence and cultural unity among African and Caribbean nations.
