Unity Cup: Nigeria Eye Final Spot As Super Eagles Wrap Up Preparation

The Super Eagles of Nigeria held their final training session on Monday ahead of Tuesday’s Unity Cup semi-final clash against Zimbabwe, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Head coach Eric Chelle supervised the session as the team focused on tactical preparations and final adjustments aimed at securing victory against the Warriors.

Defending champions Nigeria will take on Zimbabwe at 4:00 pm on Tuesday at Charlton Athletic Stadium in London. The winner of the encounter will advance to the final, where they will face either Jamaica or India, who meet in the second semi-final fixture.

Earlier on Monday, both Nigeria and Zimbabwe participated in the official pre-match press conference held at 11:00 am. The session featured the head coaches and one player from each team addressing journalists ahead of the highly anticipated contest.

According to a statement released by the Super Eagles Media Team, Nigeria was represented at the press conference by head coach Eric Chelle and goalkeeper Francis Uzoho.

The statement also confirmed that the team’s official training session took place later in the day at Charlton Athletic Stadium as preparations intensified for the crucial semi-final encounter.
