Nigeria’s Super Eagles are set to participate in the upcoming Unity Cup scheduled to take place in London this May, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Super Eagles head into the competition as defending champions, having won the previous edition after victories over Ghana and Jamaica.

According to the latest update, Nigeria will face India and Jamaica in a mini-tournament scheduled to run from May 26 to May 30.

The competition is expected to serve as part of preparations for the Super Eagles ahead of the qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.

It will also provide an opportunity to improve the team’s FIFA rankings.

With a mix of competitive fixtures and international exposure, the Unity Cup is seen as a valuable platform for the Super Eagles to fine-tune their squad and build momentum ahead of crucial continental assignments.
