Unity Cup: Otto Addo Names 23-Man Black Stars Squad For Clash Against Super Eagles

Ghana’s head coach Otto Addo has unveiled a 23-man squad for the upcoming Unity Cup invitational tournament in London, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The squad includes four locally-based players: Benjamin Asare (Hearts of Oak), Razak Simpson (Nations FC), Kamaradini Mamudu (Medeama SC), and Kwame Opoku (Asante Kotoko).
With several regulars unavailable due to injuries and club commitments, Addo has handed debut call-ups to new faces while recalling midfielder Abdul Samed Salis (Sunderland), forward Felix Afena-Gyan, and Majeed Ashimeru (Anderlecht).
All selected players are expected to report to camp on Monday.
The Black Stars will face Nigeria’s Super Eagles at the GTech Community Stadium in West London on Wednesday, May 28, for a place in the final scheduled for Saturday, May 31, 2025.
Other participants in the tournament include Jamaica’s Reggae Boys and Trinidad and Tobago’s Soca Warriors.
