Zimbabwe’s Warriors have received a major boost ahead of the 2026 Unity Cup in England after securing sponsorship support from Ecobank Zimbabwe for the tournament, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Warriors will travel to England for the competition scheduled to hold from May 26 to May 30, 2026, where they are expected to face Nigeria’s Super Eagles, India, and Jamaica.

Ecobank Zimbabwe confirmed its support for the national team during the official send-off dinner organised for the squad before their departure to England.

In a statement released by the bank, the company expressed excitement over backing the Warriors for what will be their first-ever participation in the Unity Cup tournament.

“For the first time ever, our national team, the Warriors, are heading to England to compete in the Unity Cup,” the statement read.

“As the main sponsor, we were delighted to be part of the official send-off dinner for the boys as they prepare to do battle against Nigeria, India, and Jamaica.”

The financial institution also reiterated its commitment towards youth empowerment and national development through sports sponsorship.

“Our investment in sports and the arts reflects Ecobank Zimbabwe’s deep commitment to Zimbabwe by driving youth empowerment and fostering sustainable growth,” the statement added.

The Warriors are expected to depart for England immediately as preparations intensify for the four-nation tournament.
