Super Eagles of Nigeria are scheduled to arrive in Poland on Sunday, May 31, 2026, ahead of their international friendly against the Polish national team, BSNSports.cim.ng reports.

The match is set to take place on June 3 in Warsaw as part of Nigeria’s preparations for upcoming Africa Nations Cup qualifier fixtures.

Head coach Eric Chelle has confirmed that key forwards Ademola Lookman and Victor Osimhen will not be available for the friendly matches against Poland and Portugal. According to the coach, Lookman has been granted time to rest following a demanding season, while Osimhen has been excused to focus on finalizing matters related to a prospective club transfer.

Nigeria heads into the European tour in high spirits after successfully defending the Unity Cup title. The Super Eagles secured their fourth Unity Cup crown on Saturday with a commanding 3-0 victory over Jamaica in the final.

The latest triumph adds to Nigeria’s impressive record in the competition. The Super Eagles also defeated Jamaica 4-2 in the final of the 2025 edition of the tournament held in London, further underlining their dominance in the Unity Cup.
