Super Eagles and Omonia of Cyprus goalkeeper Francis Uzoho says his quality in goal against Manchester United was the best performance of his career, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Uzoho, a Manchester United fan also expressed his delight with the chance to play at Old Trafford as he kept Red Devil stars Cristiano Ronaldo and Antony from finding the back of his goal.
The Nigerian shot-stopper was superb in between the sticks as it took 34 attempts but Manchester United find the goal in injury time against Omonia via a Scott McTominay strike to secure the three points for the home side.
Speaking to BT Sports of the UK after the game: "I am not disappointed though, because we had a great game. But I would have preferred to at least get away with a point.
"Am happy as not easy to play at Old Trafford, it's a big place but am happy in general.
"It is a dream come true for me, as I have dreamt of playing at Old Trafford for a long time. When I say the UEFA Europa League draw, I prayed to God to get that opportunity to play, I have got it and am happy I played.
"Arguably, it was the best performance of my career and I think so. I am proud of my teammates because it wasn't a one-man job, as we gave all that we got against Manchester United.
"I'm happy with my performance and that's it."
