VAR Equipment Arrives In Mauritania

Ahead of the kick-off of the 2024/2025 Mauritania Premier Football League, the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) has arrived in the country, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Mauritania Football Association, at the end of last season, announced that VAR will be fully implemented in the coming season. According to the update from the country, the proposed equipment arrived in the country on Thursday afternoon and is being fixed for all the match venues. The Mauritania League will accommodate two Sudanese League giants, Al Hilal and Al Merriekh, this season, as they will be playing in the league. The League is scheduled to commence next week.
