Valentine Ozornwafor set to join French side FC Sochaux-Montbéliard

Super Eagles defender, Valentine Ozornwafor is set to join French side, FC Sochaux-Montbéliard from Charleroi on a loan deal, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 23-year-old defender join Les Lionceaux on a a year-long loan with an option to buy.

After a slow start, the 23-year-old central defender did well at Charleroi last season on loan from Turkish giants Galatasaray.

Ozornwafor represented Nigeria at under-20 level in the 2019 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations[10] and in the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup.

The former Enyimba Fc made three international appearances for the Super Eagles of Nigeria. He was recently called up for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers against Sierra Leone and São Tomé and Príncipe by the current Suer Eagles manager Jose Peisero, but was later dropped from the final list of players.

However, the 23 years old current market value is at the region of $825,000 thousand doallars.
