The 2023 African Nations Cup group stage matches came with many surprises where many countries tagged as minnows defeated group favourites and even sent them packing from the competition, BSN sports.com.ng can report.

BSN Sports compiled the list of qualified countries and their fixtures in the Round of 16 at the ongoing African Nations Cup in Cote D'Ivoire.

Runners up in Group A, three time African champions Nigeria will slug it out with Group C runners up, Cameroon on Saturday while Group A leaders, Equatorial Guinea trades tackles with Guinea.

The hosts, Cote D'Ivoire who managed to sail through will entertain defending champions, Senegal.

South Africa will slug it out with Morocco while one of the surprise team of the tournament, Cape Verde host Mauritania.
