Verona Furious Over Orban's Red Card

A red card shown Super Eagles forward Gift Orban has left his Italian Serie A club furious with the officiating in game, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

After the match against Parma which ended 2-1, Hellas Verona chose to remain silent to protest the refereeing decisions, particularly Gift Orban's dismissal after 10 minutes.

The club's communications officer explained this to reporters. The Venetians essentially claim an injustice was perpetrated not only against the club, but also against the fans and the city, as reported by ANSA.
