Impressive Magic Stars on Wednesday put four goals past Sydney's APIA Leichhardt FC to make it two wins from two matches in the ongoing 75th edition of the Viareggio Youth Tournament in Italy, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Lagos-based Nationwide League One (NLO) side continued from where they left off against Casarano U19 on Monday, to become the first team in Group 3 to record 6 points, hence keeping their first clean sheet in the prestigious international youth football tourney.

It took Magic Stars 40 minutes to make a statement for themselves, with their superb team play and sublime goals that kept fans and, indeed, the European club scouts on the edge of their seats.

Sesan Emmanuel opened scoring for the Lagos Magicians in the 9th minute after he dispatched the APIA Leichhardt FC goalkeeper from the penalty spot.

The energetic striker put his team in the driver's seat as he doubled the lead in the 17th minute, for his brace and became the club's top scorer with his third goal in the Viareggio Youth Tournament.

Kalu Chisom looked to have put the icing on the cake when he scored his second of the campaign and Magic Stars third goal against the Australian team with a cool finish.

As the clock neared the closing 45 minutes, Magic Stars added another goal, after Chinyere Emeka got his name on the goalscorer's sheet with a 39th goal to send his team into the changing room for halftime.

Director of Sports Issac Iseoluwa Oluwatobi said after the game, "It was a five-star performance from the team, as they left nothing to chance winning the game.

" APIA Leichhardt FC were descent with their game but Magic Stars play was 85% better than the previous against Casarano U19. They created goal-scoring chances and were clinical with their finishing.

"A tough one also awaits them in Sassuolo, who surprisingly lost to Casarano U19 by a goal. I expect an interesting game from. Both teams are on Friday. "
