Visca: Sad To See Nwakaeme Leave Trabzonspor

Bosnia and Herzegovina striker Edin Visca has paid glowing tributes to his former Trabzonspor strike partner, Anthony Nwakeme, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

The Super Eagles striker who inspired the Turkish Super Lig side to their first league title after 28-years, ended his romance with the champions after both parties failed to agree on a new contract terms in June.

Visca who recently joined Trabzonspor at their pre-season training camp in Kranj, Slovenia thanked the Nigerian for helping him become a better striker.

"I came to Trabzonspor six months ago, we had a very good season. Everyone showed a great performance and we finally became champions, we made history. It was an unforgettable season for the Trabzonspor community," Visca said.

"I want to say that Nwakaeme helped me a lot when I first came. I want to thank him again as he is a great character, a great person. 

"He is one of the players who have contributed the most to Trabzonspor in recent years. But him leaving the club is one thing that happens in football."
