Vitesse keen on Valentine Ozornwafor
By Our Reporter
Eridivise side, Vitesse are keen on landing Nigeria and Charleroi defender, Valentine Ozornwafor, who’s on loan from Galatasaray, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
After the departure of Danilho Doekhi (Union Berlin), Riechedly Bazoer and Jacob Rasmussen (was hired from Fiorentina), Vitesse is eagerly looking for center defenders.
Dominik Oroz will be missing for a long time because of the conscription in Austria.
Ozornwafor (23) fits within that profile. With 1.94 meters, the Nigerian brings length and strength. But a deal is still a long way off, sources report.
Ozornwafor was still under contract with Galatasaray last year. Charleroi rented the defender last season and then took over with a purchase option.
Vitesse will start preparing for the new season on Tuesday 28 June. The first league match, against Feyenoord, awaits on Sunday 7 August.
He previously had stints with NPFL side Enyimba, Galatasary, UD Almeria, RSC Charleroi.
The former Enyimba defender transfermarket value worth €750 Thousand euros.
