Volleyball Championship: Custom Defeat Kenyan Side

The men's volleyball championship took off on Sunday in Monastir, Tunisia and it was a good outing for Nigeria's representative, Custom Service, BSNsports.com.ng can report.


Nigeria's Custom were handed a tough draw in Pool D on Saturday alongside Gisagara (Rwanda), Port Douala ( Cameroon) and Equity Bank ( Kenya).


The Nigeria side played its first match against Equity Bank of Kenya in the second group game on Sunday and it was a straight-set win for them.


The Customs Service had it tough in the first set but still won 25-21, the second set is a bit easy as they won 25-12 before wrapping up the game with another emphatic 25-19 win in the third set.


In the first game of the group, Gisagara rallied back to beat Port Douala 3-1.
