Volleyball Championship: Nigeria Customs Suffer Narrow Defeat

After recording an impressive victory in the opening group game against Equity Bank of Kenya, Nigeria's Customs Service have suffered a narrow defeat in the second game, BSNsports.com.ng understand.


The Nigeria side put up a superlative performance to earn a straight ser win over the Kenyan side.


Customs have a tough time against the Cameroonian side Port Douala and they succumbed to a 3-2 defeat.


Despite winning the first two sets 22-25, 18-25, Customs allowed Port Douala back into the game with a loss in the third set 25-13 which prompted two more sets in which Douala won 25-23, 15-12.


Customs will have the opportunity to redeem themselves when they face Gisagara of Rwanda in the final group match.
