Vote of No Confidence: Obstinate Congress Men Resolute After Meeting With NFF Representatives

The two-day scheduled meeting between 28 State Football Association chairmen to withdraw their mandate from the present Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) board continues on Sunday, BSNSports.com.ng can report.
The 28 members of NFF Congress are pertinacious even after brief meeting with the four-man representative of the NFF.
BSN Sports gathered that in the Furiday's meeting, two FA Chairmen from each geo-political zone represented the 28 Congress members. However, South-south zone where NFF President, Amaju Pinnick comes from is represented by four FA Chairmen.
Speaking on condition of anonymity, one of the Chairmen from the South South said, "Nothing is concluded yet, we still need to meet again. We converge again tomorrow (Sunday)." He told BSN Sports
"But before our meeting on (Friday night) we met briefly with the NFF representatives who presented their case before us after which our meeting which will be concluded on Sunday began.
The four NFF representatives are: League Management Company (LMC) and NFF Second Vice-president, Shehu Dikko, Chairman of Chairmen, Shehu Gusau, Niger State FA Chairman, Yusuf Ahmed Fresh, and Enyimba FC Chairman, Felix Anyansi Agwu.
"We are unshakable and hope that the plans work out well." He concluded.
28 out 37 FA Chairmen had signed a notice and served on the NFF to act swiftly on vacation of the Bayelsa High Court exparte order stopping the federation from holding Congress. After expiration of the ultimatum, the Congress men the resolve to revoking their mandate from the Federation.
