African soccer governing body ( CAF) has released the list of the outstanding players that made the team of the tournament for the just concluded Women Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, BSNsports.com.ng reports.

Expectedly, two Nigeria's Super Falcons players, defender Osinachi Ohale and forward Rasheedat Ajibade prominently featured in the team.

Champions Banyana Banyana of South Africa dominated the team with four players, and host Atlas Lionesses of Morocco produced three players while third place winner Shepolopolo of Zambia had two players.

The duo of Asisat Oshoala and Thembi Ngatlana that everyone expected to take the tournament by storm left early because of injury.

Four teams that will automatically represent the continent in the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup that will be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand have been known while Cameroon and Senegal will have to go through a playoff .
