Sampson Adedeji

Head coach of the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon, Gabriel Zabo has expressed his disappointment over the result recorded against Nigeria, BSNsports.com.ng has gathered.

The Lionesses lost 0-1 to Super Falcons in the quarter-final game at the ongoing 2022 African Women Cup of Nations in Morocco.

The result means they are out of the competition and will have to go through a repechage game to secure a place in the World cup playoffs.

"We still have a playoff to play and we will show another beautiful face.

In terms of the result, I'm very disappointed because we can do better but at the level of the content there is a progression and we are satisfied," he said.

Cameroon will face Botswana on Sunday in the repechage game and a win will qualify them for a playoff round of the World Cup.
