WAFCON 2024: Algeria Names Strong Squad For Super Falcons, Schedules Key Friendlies

Algeria has officially unveiled a formidable squad for the upcoming 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The team has been engaged in an intensive closed-camp training exercise in Oran as part of preparations for the prestigious continental showpiece.
On Wednesday, the coaching crew released the final list of players set to represent the nation at the tournament.
Algeria is drawn in Group B, where they will battle Botswana, Tunisia, and Nigeria's Super Falcons, nine-time African champions.
As part of their build-up to the tournament, Algeria has arranged two crucial friendly matches.
They will square off against DR Congo on June 29 and Senegal on July 1. Their WAFCON campaign kicks off with a clash against Botswana on July 6 in Casablanca.
