WAFCON 2024: CAF Appoints Namibian Officials For Nigeria vs Morocco Final

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Namibia’s Antsino to officiate the final of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) between Nigeria and Morocco, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Antsino, one of the tournament’s most consistent and composed referees, will make history as the first Namibian official to take charge of a WAFCON final.

She will be assisted by Alice Umutesi of Rwanda (Assistant Referee 1) and Senegal’s Tabara Mbodji (Assistant Referee 2), both praised for their sharp judgment and steady performances during the competition.

In the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) booth, Rwanda’s Salima Mukansanga a trailblazer in global football officiating will take charge, bringing her wealth of experience to the high-stakes encounter.
