Deportivo La Coruna forward Blessing Nkor has expressed strong confidence in the Super Falcons' chances of reclaiming the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) title in Morocco next year, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Nigeria’s last WAFCON outing ended in disappointment, with the team finishing fourth—their worst performance in the tournament’s history.

Speaking to Flashscore, Nkor said the squad has taken valuable lessons from that setback and is determined to make a triumphant return.

“I’m really looking forward to WAFCON—it’ll be my debut at the tournament. Our goal as a team is very clear: we want to win back the title we lost two years ago. That defeat still stings,” Nkor said.

"I regularly talk with my teammates abroad, and we’re all on the same page.

"With no disrespect to other teams, I strongly believe we’re ready to dominate African football once again. We've learned from our past mistakes and we have a solid coaching team behind us.”
