WAFCON 2026 Qualifier: Nigerian Refs To Officiate Ethiopia, Uganda Clash

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Nigerian match officials to oversee the second leg of the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifier between Ethiopia and Uganda, according to BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Patience Madu will serve as the centre referee for the crucial encounter. She will be assisted by Abibatu Iyaduni Yusuf (Assistant Referee 1) and Mfom Friday Akpan (Assistant Referee 2), while Hannah Eliagwu takes on the role of the fourth official.
Deide Camil Zealand from South Africa has been designated as the referee assessor, with Christine Mukanboka from Rwanda serving as the match commissioner.
The decisive second-leg fixture is set to take place at the Abebe Bekila Stadium in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on Wednesday, February 26.
