WAFU-B: Aliyu Zubairu Hails Flying Eagles Over Semi-Finals Qualification

Flying Eagles head coach, Aliyu Zubairu has hailed his players for securing a semi-final ticket at the ongoing WAFU-B tournament in Lome, Togo, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

He stated this during the recovery training session on Friday morning ahead of their semi-final tie against Niger Republic after the 2-1 over Cote D'Ivoire.

Zubairu took a few minutes to congratulate the boys for a job well done before the session began and reminded them of the task ahead of Saturday's clash with Niger Republic .

19 players took part in the session with Sabi'u Ibrahim on the sidelines as the midfielder is nursing an ankle injury he sustained during the 2-1 victory against Cote'Divore on Thursday.

 The Flying Eagles will square up against Niger Republic on Saturday for a place in the final as they aim for a berth in the AFCON U20 tournament.
