WAFU B CAFWCLQ: Edo Queens Drawn In Group B

Nigeria Women’s Football League champions Edo Queens have been drawn in Group B of the WAFU B CAF Women’s Champions League Qualifiers scheduled to hold in Burkina Faso, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Edo Queens will face ASEC Mimosas of Côte d’Ivoire, Ghanaian champions Ampem Darkoa and AS GNN of Niger in the four-team group.

Group A features hosts USFA of Burkina Faso, Dynamique of Benin and ASKO of Togo.

The WAFU B CAF Women’s Champions League Qualifiers will take place from August 23 to September 5, 2026.

The group-stage fixtures will be played across three matchdays, with Matchday 1 scheduled for August 23 and 24, Matchday 2 on August 26 and 27, while the final group matches will be played on August 29 and 30.

Edo Queens will be hoping to make a strong impression and advance to the next stage as Nigeria’s representatives following their triumph in the NWFL.

The competition presents the Nigerian champions with an opportunity to test their strength against some of the leading women’s clubs in the WAFU B region and secure a place on the continental stage.
